I'm completely knackered from the league game against league table leaders Goms FC. Was again in starting 11. To strengthen midfield, we played 4-4-2. We moved the ball round quite well and jn the 15th minute, I finally put my name on the scoresheet from a rebound. And with my weaker right foot too. They equalized in the 2nd quarter then led 2-1. Our weakness in midfield was apparent altho we kept pace and some possession. I was cramping so was subbed. I went in 10 minutes before end of 3rd quarter but we were already down 4-1. Really pushed even thought right calf was cramping badly.

We fought but lost to a better team. Was a good clean game. Goms FC proved why they were league leaders and it showed.

Muscles are crazy aching but expect tomorrow to be worse! Time for early bed.

Rewarded myself with good dinner at parents and had a small serving of rice.

I felt unchallenged at futsal. Didn't feel out of breath and actually felt I could play another hour. I'm liking the feeling. The diet is working well. I feel lighter, stronger, faster.

And I'm happy to announced I've dipped below 88 kilos, and just touched 20% body fat. Just a little bit more to go! Fab!

And interesting day, at least for football. We were up against Corleone FC, a team we have played in a friendly twice before, where on both occasions ended up with a draw. We led 1-0 for most of the game as both team parried each others blows. It was cruel that we conceded a goal 5minutes from time. The foul on the Corleone player also resulted in us being reduced to 10 men.

It was hard fought but an exciting, enjoyable game. We were very depleted today. First having no keeper, so one of our centre backs stood in. Secondly we only had 13 players meaning only two subs.

I'm happy that I could last a full half, then another 15minutes before the end. This 60-day quest, first and foremost, was to make me fitter, leaner, faster and stronger. And it's working. Fitter also means quicker recovery. And fitter also means less prone to injuries. Am happy I've been injury free for the past two matches already.

Had a pretty healthy eating day today altho dinner was a little salty. Started a 15 minute Afterburner set of pushups, crunches, reverse crunches, lunges, planks followed by 5 minute stretching. Harder than I thought without rest in between. Feels good though. Am pooped!

Hope to breach 87 kilos this week. Keeping fat in check too. Muscle mass is looking good.

Sad to be leaving Bangkok. It's a city I love dearly. Great people, great food, great shopping. Definitely looking forward to coming back again in May.

Coming back tho means I can get back to the quest more diligently. I can't believe it's already Day 30. That's quite a milestone. I'm halfway there. While I should be hovering around 86-85 kilos right now, there still is progress. Now it's just stepping it up and really pushing for the next 30 days.
